Chances are if you work in the CBD or hemp industries, you're doing more than one job. You could be working in marketing and logistics while overseeing compliance. It doesn't matter how large or small the company is everyone who we've met in this space is working in two or three different areas to make sure the business succeeds. It's a true testament to how much people in this industry care about the products they sell.
Joe Linne exemplifies all of this. Between the numerous brands he's assisting with Hemp Brand Builders, like EarthMost, or maintaining his own brand, Hoosier Hemp Dispensaries, he's forced to wear many hats in order to maintain the success of his own companies while helping others. It's a lot of work but very rewarding.
During our most recent Move the Stairs podcast Joe discussed how he manages to wear all of the hats while executing strategies to grow and maintain consumer loyalty and nurture relationships with members of the media. Joe also explains how our conversation at NoCo 9 opened his eyes to different ways he can protect his brand and those that he's working to build.
You can listen to our conversation on the Move the Stairs™ podcast here. Or check out our top three Move the Stairs™ takeaways from our conversation with Joe below.
Move the Stairs Moment 1: Consumer and retailer education is key
Whether you're bringing a product that's more well-known in the CBD or hemp space, like a gummy or tincture, or you're introducing something as unique as a hemp-infused hamburger, like Earthmost's latest product, it's important your stakeholders are educated, whether they are consumers, distributors, or retailers. Joe explains why.
Move the Stairs Moment 2: You need the media
Whether you like it or not, the press is a great way to move your brand's message. Joe takes this idea one step further when discussing his relationships with reporters.
Move the Stairs Moment 3: Expect the unexpected
Joe explains why our conversation about brand resiliency at NoCo 9 had such an impact on him and the way he thinks about protecting the businesses he cares about.
